Kids Activity – Decorating Garden Pots

Decorating a pot or planter is a wonderful activity for young ones. All you need is a terracotta pot (alternatively you could also use containers, old jars, cans) some waterproof paint, and a place to let the kids’ imaginations run wild. And when they’ve finished with their creative masterpieces, fill with potting mix and plant either seeds or plants (suggestions: herbs, succulents, flowers) to put into their new creations.
They’ll love caring for their plants and watching them grow in the pot they decorated themselves.
